WHAT MAKES A FOAM PARTY “INSTA-WORTHY” VS. JUST FUN?

Some foam parties are just fun. (Kids enjoy, they go home, everyone moves on.)  Then, there are the others.  The foam parties where parents blow up their social media while the party's still underway, & the kids talk about it for weeks after.

Same party idea.  Completely different experience.

That vendor knows how and when to control their equipment and customize the event.

2. TIMING & LIGHTING

Time of day affects the vibe your photos will give off.  An afternoon sun glare may cause photos to look washed-out or less impressive.  Holding a foam birthday party during golden hour produces soft, glowing photos.  Evening foam parties with colorful LED lights, or even glow-in-the-dark foam, will create jaw-dropping visuals.

Again, same party, but totally different look depending on timing.

3.  ENERGY (MUSIC IS KEY)

No music = no vibe. The children will be less expressive.  

An Instagram-worthy party has music kids recognize, energetic beats, and perhaps a song or 2 slipped in from the parents' generation to hype them up & catch photos of the adult excitement.  Capturing parents having fun at their kids' party guarantees a scroll-stopping photo post.  It will make viewers stop and think, "I want to feel that way at my kid's party, too."

4.  RELAXED ADULTS

If you’re working the party, you’re not enjoying it.  You may be smiling on the outside, but we've all been there and know it's fake.  Running snacks, managing music, cleaning as you go, making sure everyone's entertained... just adding to the 800 computer tabs already opened inside a mom's brain.  Do you think capturing social media-worthy photos is taking priority?  Negative.

Now compare that to a foam party done right. Parents on the deck, talking amongst friends, actually relaxing and enjoying themselves.  That's when the Insta-worthy shots are captured.  Because the magic isn’t just about the kids having fun.  It's also the realization that you didn't have to lift a finger to make it happen.  Relaxed moms are some of the best photographers.  Think about it...  children are so carefree and comfortable around their parents, that the most amazing candid shots can be captured.

What to Look for When Booking a Foam Party in Charlotte

Before you book a vendor, make sure you ask yourself this:

• Does the vendor use commercial-grade foam cannons?
• Can I see real videos (not generic stock footage)?
• Do they provide music?
• Do they handle everything, or do I?
• Is the foam hypoallergenic & non-toxic?
• Is there truly zero cleanup?
• Can it be done safely near a pool?
• Can they show different techniques, like the foam snake shown in the photo above?
• Do they offer LED/night options?

If any of these answers are unclear, keep looking.
