FOAM PARTY FAQs

 A foam party is a fun, safe experience where a foam cannon creates mountains of fluffy foam for kids to play in while music plays. It’s one of the most popular birthday party ideas around Charlotte!

No, Sweet FOAM Carolina does NOT rent out our equipment.  A professionally-trained operator remains on-site to manage all equipment.  You just relax! 

• A water connection within 50 feet of my set-up.
• An electrical outlet within 50 feet to connect my equipment.
  • If power is not available, I can supply a generator for an additional cost.
• Adult supervision for children.

A flat area of at least 20x20 feet is preferred. 

One foam cannon is suitable for about 30-40 participants at a time.  If you're anticipating much more than that, I would suggest group rotations or booking 2 foam cannons.

Foam parties can make any event memorable!  Here are some of my favorite ideas.

We can set up on grass, turf, concrete, or pavement. Most backyard spaces work perfectly.  Wherever you choose to hold your event, please remember I do require access to both power and water connections.  If no power source is available, I can supply a generator for an additional cost.

• I do NOT spray foam indoors.
• I do NOT spray foam over pools.

No.  Sweet FOAM Carolina's foam is a non-toxic solution of 99% water, very mild glycerin, and binding agent.  There are no harsh detergents or irritants to cause harm.  

However, foam makes the ground wet.  A large group of people or hours-long events can eventually cause the wet grass to become muddy.  For this reason, I recommend hosting large or long parties on pavement rather than grass.

I understand the pressure of watching weather apps religiously during the days leading up to an event.  It's stressful, and, unfortunately, out of anyone's control.  I don't want to add to that stress.  I keep Sweet FOAM Carolina’s rain policy simple and fair:  

• Light rain won’t stop me, if it doesn't stop you. 

• Heavy rain, thunder, or lightning present safety hazards.  I cannot operate in these conditions.  If this weather causes a cancellation before I leave for your event, I will refund your money 100%, or you can reschedule.  Your preference!  

• If heavy rain, thunder or lightning begin after I've already arrived at the event, no refunds will be given. 

• Payment in full upfront at the time of booking to secure your spot.
• Weather cancellations follow the rain policy listed above.
• Cancellations for any other reason are non-refundable.

Yes! The foam solution was designed specifically for children’s events.  It's hypoallergenic, non-toxic, & safe for skin and eyes.  Plus, my machines & solution earned the IBCCES Autism Resource Certification due to the incredible sensory experience.

Simply wear anything you don’t mind getting wet!  (In regard to The Glow Up or Color Pop packages, make sure you're also ok with potential staining.)  Swimsuits and cover-ups are always a great idea.  Definitely bring a towel to wipe your face.  Some children find water shoes helpful when the foam party is held on prickly grass.  Other children feel comfortable wearing goggles to cover their eyes. 

Nope!  ZERO cleanup!  The foam naturally dissipates on its own. Just enjoy the party!

Foam parties are a great option at any age.  Even as young as toddlers!  We can adjust the foam height & experience for any age group or sensory-friendly needs. 

Yes! We cover a wide radius of areas surrounding Charlotte, including Lancaster County and York County, South Carolina.

Absolutely. We regularly work with schools, camps, HOAs, and festivals across the Charlotte metro area. 

Sure is! 

I just don’t spray directly into pools, since a thick layer across the surface would block visibility into the water.  The mama in me refuses to risk that.

That being said, most parties are in backyards with pools or HOA pools.  I just spray right next to it, & the kids love going back and forth. Some foam will naturally get in, but it’s completely safe and not an issue for the water or filtration system. 

Yes!  We have a DJ sound system & can customize your playlist ahead of the party!

Yes!  Especially if you're looking for an activity that keeps kids engaged, without creating more work for yourself.  Many party activities hold children's attention for 10-15 minutes at a time. Have a foam party, and kids run, jump, dance, play games, and stay entertained the entire time. There are no long lines, no waiting turns, and no complicated rules. They simply dive in and have fun!

Another reason many families, schools, camps, and HOA communities choose foam parties is that they're surprisingly low-maintenance. Foam dissipates on its own, and doesn't leave piles of equipment or a yard full of cleanup afterward.
