No, Sweet FOAM Carolina does NOT rent out our equipment. A professionally-trained operator remains on-site to manage all equipment. You just relax!
Sweet FOAM Carolina brings the party right to you, providing and operating all necessary equipment. No rental agreements. No missing out on the fun to work the machines. It's all taken care of. Your job is to just grab a towel and jump right in! Serving the Charlotte Metro Area of North Carolina & South Carolina.
Most of my parties are held in backyards, parking lots, or pool decks. For large groups, pavement is preferred over grass. Wherever you choose to hold your event, please remember I do require access to both power and water connections. If no power source is available, I can supply a generator for an additional cost.
Foam parties can make any event memorable! Here are some of my favorite ideas.
No. Sweet FOAM Carolina's foam is a non-toxic solution of 99% water, very mild glycerin, and binding agent. There are no harsh detergents or irritants to cause harm.
However, foam makes the ground wet. A large group of people or hours-long events can eventually cause the wet grass to become muddy and unsightly. For this reason, I recommend hosting large or long parties on pavement rather than grass.
I understand the pressure of watching weather apps religiously during the days leading up to an event. It's stressful, and, unfortunately, completely out of anyone's control. I don't want to add to that stress. I keep Sweet FOAM Carolina’s rain policy simple and fair:
The foam solution I use is safe for children, pets and the environment. It is essentially a “free & clear” bubble bath, made of 99% water. Sometimes, kids get curious and ask if they can eat the foam. I guess it’s tempting to them, like eating fresh snow might be. I explain that it tastes disgusting and would be like eating shampoo or soap. That’s usually enough to stop their curiosity right in its tracks. But rest assured, your child will not be harmed if some foam is ingested.
My foam machine and foam solution have both been reviewed by the IBCCES and meet one or more of the Areas of Autism Competency.
Foam parties can be a great sensory experience for children, engaging many senses simultaneously. Playing in foam can help develop gross motor skills and is also a fun way to keep kids off devices (…which we’re all always searching for!) I have seen foam parties break the ice among shy individuals just meeting for the first time. I’ve also seen it as a blank canvas for creativity. Foam can be sculpted into shapes, dug into tunnels, turned into hats and beards, anything a child can imagine…
Wear anything you don’t mind getting wet in the foam. Swimsuits and cover-ups are always a great idea. Definitely bring a towel to wipe your face. Some children find water shoes helpful when the foam party is held on prickly grass. Other children feel comfortable wearing goggles to cover their eyes.
ZERO clean-up required! The foam begins dissolving on its own once I stop my machine. In the rare chance some residue is leftover, a hose or rain will wash it away.
An area of at least 20x20 feet is preferred. I host my foam parties on grass or pavement, making your backyard or a parking lot a great choice. I do not host my foam parties indoors, and I do not spray my foam onto pools.
